Packers hold off Eagles, 21-16
The Green Bay Packers held off a late rally by the home team for a 21-16 win over the Philadelphia Eagles.
Green Bay built an early lead thanks to a stifling defense and an explosive offensive passing attack.
Quarterback Aaron Rodgers threw for 180 yards and three touchdowns, and he did not have a turnover.
The Packers greatly benefitted from two missed field goals from David Akers, although they had some miscues of their own.
Rodgers threw a perfect pass to James Jones just before halftime that would have been a touchdown but slipped through his hands.
