The Green Bay Packers held off a late rally by the home team for a 21-16 win over the Philadelphia Eagles.

Quarterback Aaron Rodgers threw for 180 yards and three touchdowns, and he did not have a turnover.
The Packers greatly benefitted from two missed field goals from David Akers, although they had some miscues of their own. (Read More…)

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers will miss the team’s upcoming game against the New England Patriots.
Rodgers is still suffering from a concussion that he suffered in the team’s loss last week to the Detroit Lions.
It was the second concussion that the quarterback has suffered this season, forcing the team to use extra caution.

The Green Bay Packers dominated both sides of the ball in a 31-3 beating of the Minnesota Vikings.
Wide receiver Greg Jennings had his biggest game of the season, catching seven passes for 152 yards and three touchdowns.
The Packers made it a point a few weeks ago to get Jennings more involved in the game, and it has made a big difference.
Give the Packers defense a lot of credit for taking Adrian Peterson out of the game and forcing a lot of errant throws from Brett Favre. (Read More…)

The Green Bay Packers made up for last week’s low point output in a 45-7 rout of the Dallas Cowboys.
Quarterback Aaron Rodgers had his way with the Cowboys in just three quarters of work, throwing for nearly 300 yards and three touchdowns.
Things got so out of hand that the Packers were able to put in backup Matt Flynn for the fourth quarter.

The Green Bay Packers used a strong defensive effort to shut out the New York Jets in a 9-0 victory.
Given Green Bay’s explosive passing game, you wouldn’t expect too many victories with just three field goals.
Wide receiver Greg Jennings lead the way with six catches for 81 yards, which accounted for nearly half of team’s passing yards.
The key to the game was the turnover battle. Green Bay held onto the ball, while the Jets turned it over three times. (Read More…)

The Green Bay Packers have placed tight end Jermichael Finley on injured reserve, ending his season.
The team thought Finley would only miss a few weeks of action but quickly learned his knee injury was worse than first thought.
The Packers determined Finley would miss 8-10 weeks, but did not immediately put him on injured reserve.
They held out hope that maybe Finley could return for the last few games and the playoffs, but the team’s recent struggles made it impossible to keep him on the active roster that long. (Read More…)

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers suffered a concussion in his team’s loss to the Washington Redskins.
The concussion occurred in overtime after Rodgers threw a pass that was intercepted and resulted in the game-winning score.
Head coach Mike McCarthy said it is too early to determine whether or not he will be able to play next week.
However, it is likely that Rodgers will miss at least the next game against Miami, which would be a big blow. (Read More…)
